An independent trainer or a school usually tracks student progress with a single number per assessment – a summary that shows neither what’s mastered nor what’s still missing.

Wazadō adds a skill tree alongside that grade: the trainer places nodes and prerequisites, the student sees their progress validated skill by skill. Self-service sign-up, no installation.

A grade summarizes. It doesn’t explain.

A numeric grade compares students against each other rather than measuring individual progress, and never shows which exact skill is missing.

Wazadō adds a per-skill state to that number, validated by hand by the trainer. The student sees what they’ve mastered, what they’re working on, and what the next prerequisite requires.

Validation always stays human, never an automatic score.

Skill trees aren’t new. A pedagogical, lightweight version was missing.

The idea goes back to Freinet-style pedagogy and HR tools like Gingo, and an open-source equivalent already exists: SkillTree (NSA/Broadcom). It runs on a heavy stack (Java/Spring), with no turnkey SaaS version, targets corporate training rather than the classroom, and renders progress as flat badges — not a tree of nodes and links.

Wazadō fills that gap: a light, multilingual SaaS, built for a solo independent trainer as much as a school with several trainers, where every step of a student’s progress stays confirmed by a human.

1. No exercises, no auto-grading – a skill only advances once a trainer reviews and validates it, tier by tier.
2. Every action gets a visible reaction – hover states on nodes, loading states during validation, toasts instead of blocking pop-ups.
3. Motion with meaning – unlocking a skill triggers an animation, not just a color change.
4. Never a blank node – a missing translation shows the default-language text with an « untranslated » badge, rather than hiding the node.

A student’s skill only moves forward by the trainer’s own hand — reviewed and confirmed, tier by tier, class by class. Validation lives on a per-class dashboard: a trainer running several groups sees pending skills sorted by class.
