Nimble One.
Nimble One has departed from conventional forms to design a robot that tackles the problem of movement, creating a form that is fundamentally agile, dexterous and safe – with the aim of building the first robotic assistant truly adapted to homes and workplaces.
The mission: define its overall design, art direction and communication strategy through video content, combining industrial design, visual storytelling and motion design to position Aru as a meaningful and engaging technological companion.
Key contributions
- Designing Aru’s visual identity and physical form, balancing technological precision with emotional accessibility.
- Developing a coherent and distinctive art direction across all media and touchpoints.
- Creating a series of communication videos – concept, storytelling, product reveal – to express Aru’s personality, purpose and innovation.
01 — The brand
A company, a character.
Two marks working together: Nimble One, the company, and Aru, the robot – a product with a personality of its own.
02 — The form
Agile, dexterous, safe.
A form designed around movement rather than convention – precise enough to express the technology, approachable enough to belong at home or at work.

03 — In context
Where Aru goes to work.
Visual storytelling places Aru in the real environments it is designed for, making the promise of a robotic assistant concrete.

Outcome
A technological companion.
Industrial design, visual storytelling and motion design working as one, so Aru reads as a companion rather than a machine.
i.
Precision
A form and identity that express the robot’s technological sophistication.
ii.
Accessibility
Emotional warmth, so Aru feels at home in homes and workplaces.
iii.
Personality
Videos that tell Aru’s purpose and character, from concept to product reveal.
